Technology choices
We select technologies according to the context, the intended experience and the evolution needs of each product.
Labs is FLANP’s space for research, experimentation and the development of proprietary digital products. We bring ideas, software and learning together to create solutions with an identity of their own. We also act as an incubator for new businesses owned by FLANP, researching sectors and developing solutions to real market problems.
At Labs, the starting point is a problem or a product opportunity. Research helps us understand the context, prototypes allow us to test hypotheses, and development turns learning into experiences that can evolve.
Labs is not a traditional development agency. It focuses on proprietary products and experimentation. Custom projects for businesses belong to FLANP Partners.
Labs brings development and incubation together to create new companies owned by FLANP. We start with sectors we have researched, seeking to understand their workflows, needs and pain points before proposing a solution.
With this context, we test methodologies, technologies and solution models. Our aim is to turn learning into relevant products and, when validation and readiness support it, establish new ventures of our own — not simply deliver software.

Study the context of potential sectors to identify pain points, workflows and needs worth investigating.
Explore the relevance of a problem and test hypotheses about how a solution could create value for potential users.
Combine prototypes, software, methodologies, technologies and AI where useful, revisiting choices as we learn.
Assess how validated solutions can become new FLANP-owned companies with a defined value proposition, product and operation.
Not every research initiative needs to become a company. It may evolve as a product, be reshaped or remain experimental; creating a new venture depends on validating each opportunity.
Technical decisions follow each product’s goals. What matters more than a list of tools is how they help solve a problem.
We select technologies according to the context, the intended experience and the evolution needs of each product.
Research, prototyping, development and continuous learning guide our cycles, leaving room to revisit hypotheses and improve solutions.
We explore AI when it extends capabilities, supports automation or improves experiences, assessing its usefulness and limitations in each context.
Innovation happens in cycles. An idea may move forward, change direction or be reconsidered as we learn.
Explore needs and opportunities before defining a solution.
Test approaches and turn hypotheses into software and digital experiences.
Observe what works, identify limitations and guide future improvements.
Labs can bring its research and products together with Partners’ business expertise and Cloud’s infrastructure focus. A product can also exist solely within Labs: integration is an option, not a requirement.
